Brooklyn Shor

Rosemarie and her three children, Peter 14, Kailey 13, and the youngest Brooklyn, 7 years old, have endured more than a world pandemic. Brooklyn was diagnosed on 11/10/21 with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and is currently being treated at Stony Brook Hospital. Brooklyn will need a stem cell transplant and require long hospital stays.

Rosemarie is a single mother who is unable to work because of the intense care needed for Brooklyn. She has been denied unemployment. Brooklyn’s father has been taken to court to pay child support.

In the past few months since Brooklyn’s devastating diagnosis, the family has relied upon the goodwill of friends for food and household supplies.

Life’s Angels is proud to share that it has provided Rosemarie with $3,000 of gift cards to Walmart and Target so that she can stock up on food and supplies for her family that they will need in the coming months.

In addition, the Life’s Angels Kids (a group of students who run Bingo events to raise money for Life’s Angels) delivered a basket full of toys and games to Brooklyn, who was absolutely thrilled.
