Lillian, the youngest of 17 children, was given away at 3 days old to her elderly aunt and uncle. While in the 4th grade, she was molested by a school bus driver. At 13, she attempted suicide. While in a mental hospital, she became pregnant with her daughter and then was the victim of domestic violence. When her son was in 2nd grade, he became the victim of sexual abuse at school. Lillian still suffers from depression but is doing her best as a single mother trying to support her son with behavior problems and her daughter with celiac disease.
